The use and regulatory requirements of incinerators. Hazardous incinerators are used to handle these hazardous wastes. In China, there are two disposal methods for this waste: landfill and incineration. Therefore, the risk of landfill for this waste is very high, so incineration is the only option. How much do we know about hazardous waste incinerators? Do you know how to plan for hazardous waste incinerators?
Use of hazardous incinerators
HazardousIncineratorFor the treatment of these hazardous wastes, in China, there are two disposal methods for this waste: landfill and incineration. Therefore, the risk of waste being unable to be landfilled is very high, so incineration is sufficient. How much do we know about hazardous waste incinerators? Do you know how to plan a hazardous waste incinerator?
What are the construction requirements for incinerators?
1. Each incineration production line should operate for more than 8,000 hours per year, and the design service life of the waste incineration system should be no less than 25 years.
2. The effective volume of the waste pit should be determined based on the rated incineration amount of waste for 5-7 days, and the waste pit should be equipped with leachate collection facilities.
3. Ensure that the waste is fully burned in the incinerator, with the flue gas in the secondary combustion chamber staying above 850 degrees for no less than 2 seconds. The thermal reduction rate of the incinerator slag should be controlled within 5%, and if conditions permit, it should be controlled within 3%.Incinerator4. A bag filter must be installed to remove dust pollutants from the incineration flue gas; acidic pollutants such as hydrogen chloride, hydrogen fluoride, sulfur oxides, and nitrogen oxides should be treated using dry, semi-dry, wet, or combined treatment processes.
5. Measures should be taken to strictly control the emission of dioxins in the flue gas, including: controlling the temperature, residence time, and airflow disturbance of the flue gas in the combustion chamber; reducing the residence time of flue gas in the temperature range of 200-500 degrees; and installing devices for injecting adsorbents such as activated carbon powder.
What are the regulatory requirements for incinerators?
1. Regularly monitor the amount of waste in the storage tank and take effective measures to divert leachate from the waste storage tank. The leachate should be treated before discharge.
2. Achieve online monitoring of incinerator operation, with monitoring items including at least the combustion temperature, furnace pressure, oxygen content, and carbon monoxide content at the flue outlet. Prominent signs should be set up to automatically display the main parameters of the incinerator's operating conditions and the online monitoring data of major pollutants in the flue gas.
3. Achieve automatic continuous online monitoring of flue gas, with monitoring items including at least hydrogen chloride, carbon monoxide, smoke, sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides, etc., and connect with local sanitation and environmental protection departments for real-time data transmission.Incinerator4. The slag and fly ash generated from waste incineration should be properly handled or disposed of according to regulations.
5. Effective odor control measures should be taken at each process, and there should be no obvious odors in the factory area; deodorization systems should be used as required in relevant places and maintained in a timely manner.
6. Strengthen daily monitoring and supervision of biogas accumulation sites such as waste storage pits, sewage and leachate collection pits, underground buildings, and production control rooms to ensure safe production.
